How To Stay On Track Part 2 300x191 - Career Change: How To Stay On Track Part 2Are you having problems staying on track and reaching your career change goals? Whether you’re just starting out or making a midlife career change, if you’re getting lost in the day-to-day and forgetting about your goals, you’ll want to read on. There are some great strategies that will help to motivate you and keep on track to a great career change.

Here are several techniques that will help you to realize your career goals even if that includes personal loans or payday:

1. Identify an activity that you’re energized by; this is important when you reach the time in the day when you’re dragging. You might have difficulty in the morning because you’re a night owl. It could be that you have trouble getting your engines to start in the morning, or maybe it’s the afternoon that leaves you exhausted.

If you find an activity that reenergizes you, you won’t be as apt to lose steam. For instance, yoga or exercise might revive you. Go out for a run – find a way to increase your heart rate up and send new oxygen up to that brain of yours. Not only will this be refreshing, it will also help you to think more clearly and make you feel even more like doing your work.

2. Get help. In fact, ask for advice or assistance from others. Remember, there is only so much you can do on your own. Of course there are some things that you will absolutely have to accomplish on your own, but if there is a way for you to get help just ask.

3. Maintain a calendar and keep a very tight schedule. If you have a solid schedule and organized plan, it will help you to stay motivated and on track to reach your goals. Say you’re interested in getting your CPA credential – in the initial planning phase of your goals; be specific about what you need to do and when you need to do it for the greatest success. This helps in a couple of different ways: 1) you always know where you’re headed; 2) when you complete one of the steps in the process you celebrate; 3) you don’t need to guess about next steps – you already know what comes next.

If you set your sights on succeeding, you will through planned and purposeful actions. Think back to goals you have met in the past. There’s a good chance you had a solid plan in place and that you followed through to the end. You know as well as anyone that reaching your career goals might not be easy. If you stay motivated and on track, you will achieve whatever it is you want to accomplish.
