Write your resolutions and goals for the future. It will help you to gain a better sense of your progress along the way. If it is a goal that will take years to accomplish, such as an education, it will help to motivate you if you’ve mapped out where you began, where you are now, how you’ve progressed so far, and what your next steps will be.
Not only will this help you keep track of your goals, it will allow you to break them down into steps that are more manageable. If you’re working on a job search, you can make a note of your research, resume changes, jobs you still want to apply for, and how to grow your network.
You will be able to:
- Key in on your problem areas and make adjustments
- Determine how to create more opportunities for success
- Reward yourself for wins
It has been reported that people who write out their goals have a higher success rate. And, less than 5% of actually people write them down. Write your goals down to stay motivated!
